Easy Caprese Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 x Tomatoes
- Olive Oil
- A squeeze of lemon juice
- Pre-made Pesto Sauce
- Fresh Basil
- Three garlic cloves, minced
- Salt
- Freshly grounded black pepper
- Parmesan Cheese
- Mozzarella
- Balsamic Glaze
🌱 🥗 Mixing the salad
- Create the pesto sauce: mix olive oil + chopped garlic + grounded black pepper + salt + lemon juice + chopped fresh basil leaves + Parmesan cheese in a blender
- Slice ripe tomatoes into inch-wide slices, carefully plate tomatoes in a salad bowl
- Slice Mozzarella into 1-inch slices, and place them behind tomato slices
- Cut fresh basil into small chunks and place the basil in the salad bowl
- Drizzle the salad with Olive Oil
- Sprinkle the salad with the freshly made Pesto
- Plating: drizzle it with Balsamic glaze and Parmesean cheese, add basil and mint leaves to garnish
